On the afternoon of August 14, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc and the Central working delegation inspected the site of the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Component 1 project.
Reporting to the working group, Mr. Nguyen Linh, Deputy Director of the Dong Nai Province Construction Investment Project Management Board, said that the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Component 1 Project Phase 1 is 16 km long.
The starting point is at Km 0+000 connecting with the National Highway 1 bypass ( Vo Nguyen Giap Street) and the end point is at Km 16+000 in Long An Commune, Long Thanh District. The total investment capital is more than 6,012 billion VND from the State budget.
The project has been implemented since 2022, expected to be basically completed in 2025, and put into synchronous operation the entire route in 2026.
According to the Project Management Board, up to now, the site clearance work has basically no longer encountered problems, focusing on speeding up construction.
Currently, there are some minor problems, including two locations of the 220 kV high-voltage power line at Vo Nguyen Giap intersection and the Ham Nghi overpass approach road, which have completed the foundation and registered a power outage schedule for relocation, expected to be completed before August 31.

At the construction site, there are 35 construction teams mobilizing more than 400 vehicles, machinery and 440 workers. To date, the output value of component project 1 has reached more than 46%.
The Project Management Board continues to coordinate with relevant units, urge contractors to work overtime, closely follow the site to make up for the progress, strive to complete the project on schedule, contributing to the early formation of an important expressway connecting Dong Nai with Ho Chi Minh City.
Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc requested units to speed up the construction to put the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway project into operation on schedule.
