Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc receives additional important tasks

Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc was assigned to be the Head of the Steering Committee for Price Management.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has just signed Decision No. 1624/QD-TTg dated July 28, 2025 on the completion of the Steering Committee for Price Management (Steering Committee).

According to the decision, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc is the Head of the Steering Committee.

The Deputy Head of the Committee is Minister of Finance Nguyen Van Thang.

The members of the Steering Committee include: Mr. Le Tan Can - Deputy Minister of Finance; Ms. Mai Thi Thu Van - Deputy Head of the Government Office; Mr. Nguyen Sinh Nhat Tan - Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade; Mr. Le Duc Luan - Deputy Minister of Health; Mr. Le Tan Dung - Deputy Minister of Education and Training; Mr. Tran Thanh Nam - Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment; Mr. Nguyen Manh Khuong - Deputy Minister of Home Affairs; Mr. Nguyen Xuan Sang - Deputy Minister of Construction; Mr. Pham Duc Long - Deputy Minister of Science and Technology; Mr. Pham Thanh Ha - Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam.

The Ministry of Finance is the standing agency of the Steering Committee for Price Management, responsible for urging the implementation of tasks of the Steering Committee members as assigned by the Head of the Committee in the conclusions of the Steering Committee on price management in each period and summarizing the results to report to the Steering Committee at the meetings.

The Minister of Finance - Deputy Head of the Steering Committee for Price Management shall complete the members of the Steering Committee's Service Group as prescribed in Point d, Clause 1, Article 6 of Decision No. 60/BCDDHG of the Head of the Steering Committee for Price Management on promulgating the Regulations on the operation of the Steering Committee for Price Management.

The allocation of funding for the Steering Committee's activities is implemented in accordance with the provisions of Article 7 of Decision No. 690/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister on the establishment of the Steering Committee for Price Management.

Specific activities apply the spending level for market price synthesis, analysis, and forecasting according to the provisions of Circular No. 29/2024/TT-BTC of the Minister of Finance regulating the work of synthesizing, analyzing, and forecasting market prices and funding to ensure the work of synthesizing, analyzing, forecasting market prices and spending levels in relevant legal documents.

This Decision takes effect from the date of signing and promulgation (July 28, 2025); replaces Decision No. 1086/QD-TTg dated October 2, 2024 of the Prime Minister on the consolidation of the Steering Committee for Price Management.
