On the morning of December 1, Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi chaired an online and in-person meeting with departments and branches to review needs and discuss urgent solutions for building and repairing houses for people affected by floods.
Mr. Ho Van Muoi emphasized that this is an extraordinary meeting of special significance, focusing on overcoming the consequences of floods. In which, the top priority is to support, repair and reconstruct houses for people.

The Quang Trung Campaign was launched by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on November 30 to rapidly build and repair houses for households with damaged houses in the Central and Central Highlands provinces.
Initial statistics show that Lam Dong province has more than 3,000 houses affected by natural disasters and floods, of which 76 houses were completely collapsed or washed away.
The Provincial People's Committee agreed to support 120 million VND for each completely collapsed house and assigned departments and branches to coordinate with localities to survey and rebuild for people. The funding source has been arranged, the Department of Finance guides localities to complete procedures for quick disbursement.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi requested departments, branches and localities to complete all repairs to houses before December 20, 2025, and hand over new houses to completely collapsed households before January 15, 2026.
During the implementation process, units must promptly report if difficulties arise.

Previously, on November 30, the Prime Minister issued Official Dispatch 234/CD-TTg, launching the "Quang Trung Campaign" to speed up the construction and repair of houses for households affected by natural disasters in the Central region.
The Prime Minister requested the provinces from Ha Tinh to Lam Dong to implement it from December 1 to ensure accommodation, worship for ancestors and celebrate Binh Ngo 2026.
