On November 13, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung visited and encouraged households affected by the recent floods in Huong Thuy ward (Hue city).
The Deputy Prime Minister visited the family of Pham Thi Hien and Pham Nang in Luong Hau residential group and the family of Mr. Vo Viet Quang in Luong Xuan residential group.
At the places visited, the Deputy Prime Minister kindly asked about their living conditions and listened to the sharing of the people about the difficulties and losses after the floods.
Expressing his deep sympathy, the Deputy Prime Minister affirmed that the Government always cares about and directs localities to focus on overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, supporting people to stabilize their lives and production; at the same time, encouraging people to promote the spirit of solidarity, proactively restore their lives and soon overcome difficulties.
The Deputy Prime Minister suggested that authorities at all levels continue to pay attention to and promptly support poor households, policy families, the elderly, and children, ensuring that no one is left behind.
On this occasion, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung presented 25 gifts through the People's Committee of Huong Thuy Ward to support households affected by floods.
