On September 10, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh signed Decision No. 1952/QD-TTg to complete the Steering Committee for the implementation of Resolution No. 136/2024/QH15 of the National Assembly on the organization of urban government and piloting a number of specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Da Nang City (Steering Committee).
Accordingly, the Head of the Steering Committee is Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh.
Deputy Heads of the Steering Committee include: Minister of Finance Nguyen Van Thang (Standing Deputy Head of the Steering Committee); Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee.
The members of the Steering Committee include: Senior Lieutenant General Pham The Tung - Deputy Minister of Public Security; Deputy Head of the Government Office Trinh Manh Linh; Deputy Minister of Finance Nguyen Duc Tam; Deputy Minister of Justice Nguyen Thanh Tu; Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Truong Hai Long; Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Viet Hung; Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hoang Long; Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment Nguyen Thi Phuong Hoa; Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Bui Hoang Phuong; Chairman of the People's Council of Da Nang City; Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City.
The decision clearly states that the Head of the Steering Committee is allowed to invite additional leaders of a number of ministries, branches and agencies to participate as members of the Steering Committee or request leaders of ministries, central and local agencies to implement, report on necessary issues and attend the meeting.
This decision takes effect from September 10, 2025.
This Decision replaces Decision No. 925/QD-TTg dated August 30, 2024 of the Prime Minister on the establishment of a Steering Committee for the implementation of Resolution No. 136/2024/QH15 dated June 26, 2024 of the National Assembly on the organization of urban government and piloting a number of specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Da Nang City.
According to the previous Decision No. 925/QD-TTg, the Head of the Steering Committee is the Prime Minister.
