On September 2nd, in Kim Lien commune, the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee held a ceremony to award Party Badges for the 2nd phase of September 2026 to veteran Party members in Kim Lien commune.
At the ceremony, Mr. Pham Gia Tuc - Member of the Politburo, Standing Deputy Prime Minister and Mr. Nguyen Khac Than - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee awarded Party Badges: 80-year Party Badge to party member Nguyen Son Cat, Lang Sen Party Cell, Kim Lien Commune Party Committee; 70-year Party Badge to party member Nguyen Xuan Huu, Tan Hong Party Cell, Kim Lien Commune Party Committee; 65-year Party Badge to 4 party members Tran Cong Tuy, Pham Huu Phuong, Tran Van Luynh and Pham Hong Canh were awarded.

Speaking at the ceremony, Standing Deputy Prime Minister Pham Gia Tuc emphasized that the Party Badge is a noble reward of the Party, recognizing the steadfastness, training process and persistent contributions of Party members through many periods.
According to the Standing Deputy Prime Minister, 65 years, 70 years or 80 years of Party membership are not just numbers, but long journeys associated with the turning points of the Vietnamese revolution, from the struggle for national liberation, construction and defense of the Fatherland to renovation and integration.
Party members who were awarded Party Badges have gone through many historical periods, no matter what position or circumstance they are in, they still maintain their position, sense of responsibility, and are exemplary in work and life.
The Standing Deputy Prime Minister said that the qualities and experience of veteran Party members are precious spiritual assets, which need to be preserved, promoted and spread.
The awarding of Party Badges in Kim Lien - the hometown of President Ho Chi Minh - is not only a recognition for party members who have contributed for many years but also contributes to educating revolutionary traditions for cadres, party members and the young generation.
Standing Deputy Prime Minister Pham Gia Tuc wished veteran party members to continue to maintain their health, promote prestige, experience, contribute opinions to Party building work, build the political system and continue to be role models for the younger generation to follow.
According to Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Khac Than, on the occasion of National Day September 2, 2026, the whole province has 3,808 party members awarded and posthumously awarded Party Badges from 30 to 85 years of Party membership.
In which, 5 party members were awarded Party Badges of 85 years and 80 years of Party membership; 1 party member was awarded Party Badges of 75 years of Party membership; 12 party members were awarded Party Badges of 70 years of Party membership and 107 party members were awarded Party Badges of 65 years of Party membership.
The Secretary of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee affirmed that behind each Party Badge is the process of striving, training and dedication of generations of Party members to the Party, homeland and country.
