At the awarding ceremony, Comrade Pham Gia Tuc - Member of the Politburo, Standing Deputy Prime Minister - on behalf of Party and State leaders awarded Party Badges to 5 party members. Among them, 1 comrade received the 80-year Party Badge and 4 comrades received the 65-year Party Badge.
Speaking at the ceremony, Standing Deputy Prime Minister Pham Gia Tuc emphasized that the Party Badge is a noble reward of the Party for party members who have a long process of striving, training and dedication.
Each Party Badge is associated with a story about life, revolutionary years, assigned tasks and difficulties and challenges overcome. That is also recognition of silent contributions to the Party, State and people.

According to the Standing Deputy Prime Minister, the award of the Party Badge is a recognition of the respectable contribution of party members. For comrades with 80 years of Party membership, this meaning is even more profound.
Because 80 years of Party membership is almost a lifetime attached to the Party. These are also witnesses of many historical milestones full of hardships and sacrifices but very heroic of the nation.
Veteran Party members have witnessed the country from the years of struggle for independence, through resistance wars, national reunification, carrying out renovation and gradually developing and integrating internationally.
Therefore, awarding Party Badges is not only the Party's recognition of individual Party members but also an opportunity to express gratitude and honor the generations that laid the foundation, sacrificed and contributed to the country.
Standing Deputy Prime Minister Pham Gia Tuc requested Party committees and Party organizations at all levels in Ha Tinh to continue to perform well the work of considering and awarding Party Badges in the coming time. The implementation must ensure responsibility, accuracy, timeliness, strictness and humanity.
Party committees and Party organizations need to regularly review and strictly manage Party member records and data; proactively detect cases that meet the conditions. At the same time, fully implement the process of considering and posthumously awarding Party Badges, ensuring the right subjects, standards, conditions, time and authority.
In particular, for Party members who are old, weak in health, and have difficulty walking, the Party Committee needs to proactively grasp the situation so that the awarding is carried out promptly, solemnly, and thoughtfully. Thereby, showing the feelings, responsibility, and care of the Party for Party members who have contributed for many years.
