On March 19, after attending the groundbreaking ceremony of the Inter-level Boarding School, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung had a working session with the People's Committee of Ea Bung commune, Dak Lak province.
At the working session, the People's Committee of Ea Bung commune reported on the results achieved in the past time, especially in the fields of agricultural production, new rural construction and the implementation of the two-level local government model.
Currently, the locality still faces many difficulties in economic development; infrastructure is not synchronized; the poverty rate is still high; a part of the population still has limited access to online public services.
In 2025, the total state budget revenue of the locality reached 36.023 billion VND; average income per capita reached 29.7 million VND/person/year, equivalent to 92.8% of the set plan.

The cultural and social field continues to be concerned; education and healthcare are maintained stably; social security policies are implemented fully and promptly. National defense and security are maintained; political security and social order and safety are basically stable.
Speaking to direct, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung acknowledged the efforts of the government and people of Ea Bung commune in overcoming difficulties and gradually stabilizing after the merger; the apparatus operates effectively; people's lives have positive changes; agricultural production continues to develop.
However, the poverty and near-poverty rates are still high. The Deputy Prime Minister requested localities to review each household and develop appropriate solutions such as supporting production land, loans, and farming techniques; and at the same time assign specific support organizations and unions to help people escape poverty sustainably.
The locality needs to continue to develop effective agricultural models, especially high-tech agriculture; invest in irrigation systems and canals to be proactive in irrigation water sources.
According to the Deputy Prime Minister, the Central Government will continue to invest in large projects in the fields of transportation, irrigation, education and health; and at the same time study policies to support grassroots cadres, especially in difficult areas and border areas.
Therefore, departments and branches of Dak Lak province need to strengthen coordination and support Ea Bung commune in infrastructure investment, transport development and good implementation of social security policies, contributing to narrowing the development gap between the border area and the central area.
