On December 7, the 18th Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee Conference continued its working program to discuss and contribute ideas to the first draft of the Political Report to be submitted to the 21st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030.
At the Conference, Ms. Bui Thi Quynh Van - Secretary of the Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee emphasized that in order to carefully and qualitatively prepare for the 21st Provincial Party Congress, the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee has proactively directed the early implementation of related work contents, in which special attention is paid to the development of documents to be submitted to the Congress, focusing on the Political Report.This is a very important content, demonstrating the vision and strategic thinking of the Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee and the will, aspirations and political determination of the entire Party Committee and people of all ethnic groups in Quang Ngai province in the coming term.
The draft political report submitted to the 21st Provincial Party Congress identifies the Congress theme as strengthening the Party building and rectification and a comprehensively clean and strong political system, promoting the tradition of revolutionary solidarity and the cultural and spiritual potential of Quang Ngai people. Striving to make Quang Ngai a fairly developed province in the country by 2030. The Congress motto is solidarity, democracy, discipline, innovation, and development.

Regarding limitations, delegates commented that the province's economy has developed but the poverty rate is still high. One of the reasons is the dependence and expectation of a part of the people in mountainous districts. Regarding proposed solutions for the next term for mountainous districts, delegates said that it is necessary to promote the effectiveness of crops and livestock, and minimize the development of acacia trees because 90% of acacia trees are exploited early, which is not very effective.
Regarding education, it is necessary to determine and orient the development of Pham Van Dong University to become a member of Hanoi National University. Delegates also gave comments on green growth, sustainable development, and ensuring national defense and security. The happiness index is living in a friendly neighborhood and a secure community, so it should be clearly shown in the document.
Delegates also discussed and proposed comments on the directions, tasks, targets, goals, solutions for socio-economic development, growth drivers and strategic breakthroughs in the coming term. Regarding the average annual GRDP growth target, the draft proposed from 7.5 - 8.5%, delegates said that to achieve a growth rate of 2 digits or more, it requires great efforts and struggles of the entire political system in the coming term.
