The National Assembly selected 2/3 field groups to question the two ministers

National Assembly deputies will select 2/3 groups of issues in the fields of education - training; finance; science - technology for questioning.

Secretary General of the National Assembly Le Quang Tung sent a request for opinions to National Assembly deputies on the expected group of questions and answers at the 9th Session.

In the 3 groups of questions raised, National Assembly deputies were asked to choose 2 groups corresponding to 2 ministers to answer the questions.

The first group of issues is in the field of education and training with contents on the current situation and development solutions, improving the quality of higher education associated with training high-quality human resources, meeting the requirements of socio-economic development.

Implementation of legal regulations on extra teaching and learning; ensuring a safe, healthy and friendly educational environment; preventing and combating school violence; ensuring food safety and hygiene in schools... are also contents of this group of issues.

The main responsibility for answering is Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son. Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long and the Ministers of the Ministries of Finance, Home Affairs, Health, Culture, Sports and Tourism, Science and Technology, and Public Security can participate in answering questions and explaining related issues.

Second is the group of issues in the financial sector with the expected content of solutions on financial work for socio-economic development, ensuring growth targets, renewing old growth drivers, establishing and promoting new growth drivers.

This group of issues also includes content on solutions to improve the operational efficiency of state-owned enterprises; solutions to support and promote the development of the private economy as the most important driving force of the economy.

Solutions to promote the attraction of foreign direct investment (FDI); mechanisms and policies to promote, attract investment, develop industrial parks, economic zones... are also the contents that will be questioned if the financial sector is chosen.

The main responsibility for answering is Minister of Finance Nguyen Van Thang. "Showing the fire" with Minister Nguyen Van Thang will have Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc and Ministers of the Ministries of Industry and Trade, Agriculture and Environment, Construction, Science and Technology, and Foreign Affairs.

Third is the group of issues in the field of science and technology, including the implementation of Resolution No. 57 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in the development of science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation.

If this group of issues is selected, National Assembly deputies can also question solutions to promote digital transformation in state management, build digital government; support organizations, businesses, and people to improve digital skills, accelerate digital transformation; Mechanisms and policies to promote the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in state management activities.

The main responsibility for answering is Minister of Science and Technology Nguyen Manh Hung. Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung and the Ministers of the Ministries of Finance, Home Affairs, Education and Training, Public Security, and Head of the Government Office will participate in answering questions and explaining related issues.

The questioning session at this session will last for 1.5 days (from the afternoon of June 19 to the end of June 20), shorter than usual.

The Prime Minister (or authorized Deputy Prime Minister) will answer questions from National Assembly deputies on issues related to the management of the Government.
