The 9th extraordinary session of the 15th National Assembly opened on February 12, 2025 and is expected to close on February 19, 2025 in the form of a concentrated meeting at the National Assembly House, Hanoi.
According to the meeting agenda, at 7:30 a.m. on February 12, the National Assembly held a preparatory session. After the National Assembly Chairman spoke, a member of the National Assembly Standing Committee, the National Assembly Secretary General, and the Head of the National Assembly Office presented a report on receiving, explaining, and revising the proposed agenda of the 9th Extraordinary Session of the 15th National Assembly.
At 8:00 a.m., the 9th Extraordinary Session of the 15th National Assembly opened and was broadcast live on television and radio.
The Secretary General of the National Assembly announced the reason for the opening and introduced the delegates attending the Session.
The National Assembly Chairman delivered the opening speech of the Session. Afterwards, the Minister of Planning and Investment, authorized by the Prime Minister, presented the Report on the Supplementary Project on Socio-Economic Development in 2025 with a growth target of 8% or more.
The Chairman of the National Assembly's Economic Committee presented the Report on the verification of the Supplementary Project on socio-economic development in 2025 with a growth target of 8% or more.
The representative of the Drafting Committee of the National Assembly Standing Committee presented the Report on the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Organization of the National Assembly.
The Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee on Law presented the Verification Report on the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Organization of the National Assembly.
The Minister of Justice, authorized by the Prime Minister, presented the Submission on the draft Law on Promulgation of Legal Documents (amended).

Most of the contents submitted to the National Assembly will be considered and commented on by the National Assembly Standing Committee at the 42nd Session in February 2025; for some remaining contents, based on the progress of submitting documents and the examination by the National Assembly agencies, the National Assembly Standing Committee will organize another meeting before the opening day of the Session to comment.
