Declaration, disclosure of donations to overcome storm Yagi

The Fatherland Front has published statements and publicized the amount of donations to overcome Typhoon Yagi from the Central Government to the provincial, district, commune levels and beneficiaries.

On February 21, in Hanoi, the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) held a conference of Chairmen of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of provinces and centrally run cities.

The conference reported the results of organizing the mobilization, receipt, and allocation of funds to support people affected by storm No. 3 (storm Yagi).

According to the report at the conference, as of February 16, 2025, the total budget through the Central Relief Mobilization Committee and Relief Mobilization Committees at all levels in localities to receive support for people affected by storm No. 3 is VND 5,303.448 billion.

In the Central Government, as of February 16, 2025 - the end of the campaign to support people affected by storm No. 3, the Central Relief Mobilization Committee has received over VND 2,675.02 billion.

Of which: 639.572 billion VND is transferred to localities; 2,035.448 billion VND is donated by agencies, organizations, individuals, units, enterprises, philanthropists at home and abroad, foreigners living and working in Vietnam, international friends and embassies of countries through the Central Relief Mobilization Committee.

Regarding the allocation results, the total amount of money allocated to support localities and organizations affected by storm No. 3 from the Central Relief Mobilization Committee is VND 2,039.050 billion (phase 1 allocated VND 385 billion; phase 2 allocated VND 650 billion, phase 3 allocated VND 948 billion; the budget of organizations and individuals directly donated is VND 56,050 billion).

The transitional balance for the next relief package is 635.97 billion VND.

In the locality: The Mobilization Committee for Relief at all levels in the locality has mobilized over VND 3,268 billion (including the mobilized amount transferred to the Central Government is VND 639.572 billion).

According to reports from localities, as of February 16, 2025, the Mobilization Committee for Rescue of 26 localities has received VND 4,884.05 billion (of which: VND 1,595.9 billion was received directly at the local level; VND 2,035.05 billion was allocated by the Central Government; VND 1,252.6 billion was received from other localities).

Localities have allocated and used VND 3,493.7 billion; are continuing to allocate VND 1,773.69 billion (36.31% of the total local funding sources received).

The Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front has announced the " statements", publicly and transparently the sources of receipt through the accounts of the Central Relief Mobilization Committee and promptly allocated them to localities affected by storm No. 3 on mass media for people to monitor and supervise.

In which, publicly disclose support data from the central to provincial levels, from provincial to district levels, from district to commune level, from commune level to beneficiary.

This has received the consensus and appreciation from all classes of people at home and abroad, creating a positive spread in the community, creating trust among the people about the role and responsibility of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in mobilizing support.
