Deputy Prime Minister Le Tien Chau has just signed the Prime Minister's Decisions:
In Decision No. 805/QD-TTg, the Prime Minister decided to merge the Southern Law College under the Ministry of Justice into Can Tho University under the Ministry of Education and Training.
In Decision No. 806/QD-TTg, the Prime Minister decided to merge the Northern Law College under the Ministry of Justice into the University of Science under Thai Nguyen University, Ministry of Education and Training.
The Ministry of Education and Training and the Ministry of Justice direct relevant agencies and units to carry out the handover and receipt of learners, personnel, finance, and assets of the Southern Law College to Can Tho University and of the Northern Law College to the University of Science directly under Thai Nguyen University in accordance with regulations; ensure normal operation, legitimate rights and interests of relevant parties, and prevent negativity, loss, and waste of finance and assets in the merger process.
The Ministry of Education and Training is responsible for the fact that Can Tho University continues to train and grant degrees to students studying at the Southern College of Law; the University of Science directly under Thai Nguyen University continues to train and grant degrees to students studying at the Northern College of Law according to regulations, ensuring the legitimate rights and interests of learners.
In Decision No. 807/QD-TTg, the Prime Minister decided to establish the Branch of the University of Finance - Marketing in Quang Ngai province on the basis of the University of Finance - Accounting.
Decision No. 807/QD-TTg assigns the Minister of Education and Training and the Minister of Finance to be responsible for directing the University of Finance - Marketing and the University of Finance - Accounting to carry out the handover and reception of personnel, finance, assets, and learners of the University of Finance - Planning in accordance with regulations; the handover and reception process must ensure normal operation, legitimate and lawful rights and interests of learners, teachers, management officials, staff, and related parties, and prevent negativity, loss, and waste of finance and assets.
