Early submission of Decree regulating Database on prevention and control of domestic violence

The Deputy Prime Minister requested to focus on completing and promptly submitting the draft Decree regulating the Database on Prevention and Control of Domestic Violence.

On April 23, at the Government headquarters, Central Party Committee member and Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh chaired a meeting with relevant ministries and branches to listen to a report on the draft Decree regulating the Database on Prevention and Control of Domestic Violence.

Speaking at the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister requested the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to review and accept the draft Decree to complete it, carefully review the provisions in relevant laws and decrees, especially the Data Law (effective from July 1, 2025) to ensure consistency and consistency.

The Deputy Prime Minister requested that a database on domestic violence prevention and control must be created, connected, shared uniformly, without overlap or overlap with other relevant databases, especially the national database on population, management of cadres, civil servants, and public employees; complaints and denunciations, enforcement of civil and criminal judgments... the database must be correct, complete, clean, fresh, and continuously updated.

The Deputy Prime Minister assigned the Government Office to urgently draft the meeting conclusion document, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to urgently accept to complete the draft decree, and promptly submit it to the Government for consideration and promulgation.
