The Hanoi Department of Home Affairs has just issued an official dispatch on temporarily suspending the recruitment of civil servants and public employees.
The document clearly stated that, implementing Conclusion No. 128-KL/TW dated March 7, 2025 of the Politburo on the policy of personnel work; Official Dispatch No. 1474-CV/TU dated March 13, 2025 of the Hanoi Party Committee on the implementation of Conclusion No. 128-KL/TW, the Department of Home Affairs requests departments, branches, and public service units under the City People's Committee, People's Committees of districts, towns to seriously implement the direction of the City Party Committee Standing Committee.
Accordingly, the organization of civil servant recruitment exams will be suspended until the arrangement of district and commune-level administrative units is completed and there are documents directing and guiding the organization of implementation (including units that have had their recruitment plans and targets assessed by the Department of Home Affairs but have not yet organized recruitment, except for units that have completed the first round of recruitment exams and will continue to carry out the next steps).
The Department of Home Affairs temporarily suspends the appraisal of opinions on receiving civil servants and public employees from other places to the city until the work of arranging administrative units and having new instructions from the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee is completed.
