On March 14, information from the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee said that the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee has just issued a document on temporarily suspending the implementation of a number of contents in the process of reorganizing the apparatus of the political system in the province.

According to the document, implementing Conclusion No. 126-KL/TW dated February 14, 2025 and Conclusion No. 127-KL/TW dated February 28, 2025 of the Politburo and the Secretariat on the implementation of research and proposals on continuing to reorganize the apparatus of the political system; Conclusion No. 128-KL/TW dated March 7, 2025 of the Politburo on the policy of personnel work, the Standing Committee of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee requires departments, branches, sectors, the Fatherland Front, provincial-level unions, districts, towns, city Party Committees and affiliated Party Committees to strictly implement the following contents:
From March 7, 2025 until the completion of the implementation of the Project on not organizing district-level administrative units, merging and consolidating a number of provincial-level administrative units and reorganizing commune-level administrative units; at the same time, reorganizing and streamlining the Fatherland Front agencies, socio-political organizations, and mass organizations assigned by the Party and the State. Request to temporarily suspend the recruitment and implementation of planning, transfer, rotation, and appointment processes, request policies to improve and supplement leaders at the head and deputy heads of departments, branches, sectors, the Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations at the provincial level, and mass organizations assigned by the Party and State at the provincial level.
Temporarily suspend the recruitment and implementation of planning, transfer, rotation, appointment, and nomination of candidates for leadership and management positions as well as perfect and supplement the Standing Committee, Committee, Secretary, Deputy Secretary at district and commune levels.
Temporarily suspend investment preparation and investment approval for new construction projects, repair, renovation, and upgrading of working headquarters of administrative agencies, public service units, district-level conference centers, district-level cultural and sports centers, and commune-level districts.
For projects that have had investment policies, investment decisions, and contractor selection results but have not yet started construction, implementation will be temporarily suspended. Other projects are still proceeding according to plan.
The Provincial Party Standing Committee assigned the Standing Committees of districts, towns and cities to lead and direct the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to review projects temporarily suspended in the area according to the above policy, and report to the Standing Committees of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee before March 25, 2025.
Assign the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Committee to lead the Provincial People's Committee to monitor, guide, inspect and supervise the review of projects that have been suspended in localities, compile a full list of projects in the whole province, and report to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee.
