On March 30, the People's Council (HĐND) of Dak Lak province, term XI, 2026-2031, held the first meeting to consider and approve contents under its authority, including key personnel work.
Accordingly, Mr. Do Huu Huy - Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee was trusted by the Provincial People's Council to be elected to hold the position of Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee for the 2026-2031 term.
Speaking to receive the assignment, Mr. Do Huu Huy - Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee - said: "After arranging and expanding the development space, the province's scale is larger, the potential and development space are more open. At the same time, it also sets higher requirements for management, administration and implementation capacity.
The collective of the Provincial People's Committee must act more drastically, manage more flexibly, and innovate more strongly, in order to meet the requirements of rapid, sustainable and comprehensive development in the coming period".
According to the Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee, to fulfill the assigned responsibility, the Provincial People's Committee will build a united, unified, disciplined, responsible, action-oriented and effective collective. Through this, promote individual responsibility, promote collective wisdom, and take practical efficiency as a measure in direction and administration.
The Provincial People's Committee continues to inherit the achievements and valuable experiences of previous generations of leaders; focuses on effectively resolving difficulties, obstacles and outstanding issues in the local development process. At the same time, implement the motto "saying and doing", working with focus and key points, associated with inspection, supervision and specific result evaluation.
Notably, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also affirmed that he will focus on reviewing and removing "bottlenecks" in planning, infrastructure, investment, land, disbursement of public investment capital; promote administrative reform, improve the quality of the investment and business environment. Along with that is to better care for people's lives, especially in remote and isolated areas, ethnic minority areas and areas with many difficulties.
To successfully complete the task, the Provincial People's Committee hopes to continue to receive the leadership and direction of the Central Government and the Provincial Party Committee; the supervision and companionship of the Provincial People's Council; the coordination of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organizations; and the support of the business community and the entire People.
At the same time, I hope that the team of officials, civil servants, and public employees in the Provincial People's Committee will continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, responsibility, innovation, and creativity; join hands and unite to successfully implement the development goals set out," emphasized the Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee.
