On March 30, the People's Council (HĐND) of Dak Lak province, term XI, 2026–2031, held the first meeting to consider and approve contents under its authority. In which, there is key personnel work.
At the meeting, the Provincial People's Council elected the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee and members of the Provincial People's Committee; and at the same time elected the People's Assessors of the Provincial People's Court and regional People's Courts.
Accordingly, Ms. Cao Thi Hoa An - Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council (term 2021–2026) - continued to be trusted by the Provincial People's Council to be elected as Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council for the term 2026–2031.
Provincial People's Council delegates also trusted and elected Vice Chairmen of Dak Lak Provincial People's Council for the term 2026 - 2031, including: Ms. Phuc Binh Nie Kdam, Mr. Tu Thai Giang and Do Thai Phong.
Ms. Cao Thi Hoa An (52 years old, from Dien An commune, Dien Chau district, Nghe An province) holds a Master's degree in Education Management, Bachelor of Chemistry Pedagogy, Senior in Political Theory.
During her work, she held many positions such as: Standing Deputy Secretary of Phu Yen Provincial Youth Union, Chairwoman of the Provincial Women's Union, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee, Secretary of Dong Hoa District Party Committee.
In the period 2015–2020, she held the position of Chairwoman of the Phu Yen Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee. In 2020, she was elected as Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Phu Yen Provincial People's Council. In March 2025, the Politburo approved her to hold the position of Secretary of the Phu Yen Provincial Party Committee.
On July 1, 2025, she was assigned to hold the position of Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Dak Lak Provincial People's Council for the term 2021–2026 (according to Resolution No. 1731/NQ-UBTVQH15 of the 15th National Assembly Standing Committee), and also Secretary of the Party Committee of Dak Lak Provincial Party Agencies for the term 2020–2025.
On September 30, 2025, at the 1st Dak Lak Provincial Party Congress, term 2025–2030, she was appointed to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee for the term 2025–2030.
On January 22, 2026, at the 14th National Party Congress, she was elected as a member of the 14th Central Committee of the Party.
