On March 30, the People's Council (HĐND) of Dak Lak province, term XI, 2026–2031, held the first meeting to consider and approve contents under its authority, including key personnel work.
At the meeting, the Provincial People's Council elected the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee, and members of the Provincial People's Committee. At the same time, elected People's Assessors of the Provincial People's Court and regional People's Courts.
Accordingly, Mr. Do Huu Huy - Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee was trusted by the Provincial People's Council to be elected to hold the position of Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee for the 2026–2031 term.
Provincial People's Council delegates also trusted and elected Vice Chairmen of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee for the new term, including: Ms. Ho Thi Nguyen Thao, Mr. Truong Cong Thai, Mr. Nguyen Thien Van and Mr. Dao My.
Mr. Do Huu Huy (born in 1980, native of Hai Phong City) has a high degree in political theory; Master of Economic Management, Electronics and Telecommunications Engineer. From 2007 to present, he has held many positions and positions:
August 2007: Specialist of the General Department, assisting Deputy Minister, Office of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
August 2009: Deputy Head of the Deputy Minister's assisting department, Ministry of Industry and Trade Office.
July 2011: Deputy Head of Department, assisting Deputy Minister, Office of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
October 2011: Deputy Director of the Africa, West Asia, South Asia Department, Ministry of Industry and Trade.
August 2012: Deputy Director of the Department of Africa, West Asia, South Asia; Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the Ministry of Industry and Trade for the term 2012–2017.
August 2017: Deputy Director of the Asia-Africa Market Department, Ministry of Industry and Trade.
November 2018: Chief of Office of the State Capital Management Committee at enterprises.
April 2022: Member of the Executive Committee of the Party Committee of the Committee agency for the term 2020–2025; Vice Chairman of the Committee, Chairman of the Trade Union of the State Capital Management Committee at enterprises.
From February 2025: Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Binh Thuan Provincial People's Committee for the term 2021–2026.
July–September 2025: Deputy Secretary of Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee XVII term, term 2020–2025.
From September 30, 2025: Deputy Secretary of Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee for the term 2025–2030.
January 22, 2026: At the 14th National Party Congress, elected as a Alternate Member of the 14th Party Central Committee, term 2026–2031.
March 20, 2026: Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee held a ceremony to announce the decision to appoint him to hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee.
