The Congress has the task of comprehensively assessing the situation and results of the implementation of the Resolution of the 9th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the 2019-2024 term; setting out the directions, tasks and action programs of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in the new term. Exercising its rights and responsibilities, in the 2019-2024 term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels has promoted democracy, increasingly demonstrating its role of representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of the people; supervising and providing social criticism; participating in preventing and combating corruption and waste, contributing to building a clean and strong Party and government.
Mr. Do Van Chien - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front - emphasized the need to widely gather social classes and strata, strengthen solidarity and consensus to become endogenous strength, and resolve: Once said, do it, once discussed, agree, once decided, all must be of one mind.
According to Mr. Do Van Chien, the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels needs to continue to innovate the content and methods of operation, stay close to the grassroots, stay close to people's lives, promote the application of information technology, adapt to the digital society to propagate and mobilize people in the direction of the whole people, comprehensively, with focus, key points, close to local realities. Arouse and strongly promote the spirit of initiative, creativity, self-reliance, self-reliance, aspiration to develop a prosperous and happy country.
Mobilize experts, scientists, managers, and those with practical experience and enthusiasm to participate in the advisory councils of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; improve the quality of supervision, social criticism, and contributions to Party and State building. Focus on contents directly related to people's lives. Timely make recommendations to Party committees, authorities, and competent State agencies, and resolve legitimate recommendations from the people.
Improve the substance of campaigns and patriotic emulation movements, actively and creatively implement the emulation movement "The whole country joins hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" launched by the Prime Minister and the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the content of the fourth action program: "Promoting the role of mastery and self-management of the people, building united, prosperous and happy residential areas", how to make people support good deeds, criticize bad deeds, build each peaceful residential area, which is an important basis for local stability and development.
To successfully implement the Resolution of the 10th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, cadres are the decisive factor. Therefore, in this term, we must together promote the training, fostering and training of cadres working for the front from the central to the grassroots levels.
Mr. Do Van Chien emphasized that, in any circumstances, the Vietnam Fatherland Front must act as a solid "bridge" to maintain the "blood" relationship between the Party, the State and the people; maintain the solidarity of the components, classes and strata of the people; unite the ethnic majority with the ethnic minorities, between religious and non-religious people, between compatriots in the country and Vietnamese people abroad...
Strongly arouse the belief, desire to contribute, and creativity of all people, and make the greatest efforts to successfully implement the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and the upcoming Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress.
