The National Assembly Standing Committee has issued a Resolution on the arrangement of commune-level administrative units of Ha Tinh province in 2025.
Accordingly, after the arrangement, Ha Tinh province has 69 commune-level administrative units, including 60 communes and 9 wards; of which, there are 58 communes, 9 wards formed after the arrangement and 02 communes that do not implement the arrangement are Son Kim 1 and Son Kim 2 communes.

The competent authorities urgently carry out necessary preparations to ensure that local authorities in commune-level administrative units formed after the arrangement prescribed in Article 1 of this Resolution officially operate from July 1, 2025.
Local authorities in commune-level administrative units before the reorganization will continue to operate until the local government in commune-level administrative units is formed after the reorganization and officially operates.
The Government, the People's Council, the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province, local authorities and administrative units related to the implementation of the arrangement and other relevant agencies and organizations are responsible for organizing the implementation of this Resolution; arranging and stabilizing the apparatus of local agencies and organizations; stabilizing the lives of local people, ensuring the requirements of socio-economic development, national defense and security in the area.
The Ethnic Council, the National Assembly Committees, the National Assembly Delegation and the National Assembly Delegates of Ha Tinh province, within the scope of their tasks and powers, shall supervise the implementation of this Resolution.
This Resolution takes effect from June 16, 2025.
