On the afternoon of March 3, the People's Council of Thai Nguyen province, term XIV, 2021 - 2026, held the 12th session. This is a thematic session to consider and decide on contents under its authority with the participation of more than 100 delegates.
At the meeting, delegates elected the title of Vice Chairman of Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee, term XIV, term 2021 - 2026 for Mr. Duong Van Luong - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of Phan Dinh Phung ward.
With 100% of the votes in favor, Mr. Duong Van Luong was elected to the position of Vice Chairman of the 14th Provincial People's Committee, term 2021 - 2026.
Mr. Duong Van Luong was born in 1974, Kinh ethnicity, native of Phu Binh commune, Thai Nguyen province, with a high-level political theory level, and a Master of Economic Management.
Before being elected as Vice Chairman of Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee, term XIV, 2021 - 2026, Mr. Duong Van Luong held many positions such as: Deputy Director of the Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, Vice Chairman of Dinh Hoa District People's Committee, Chief of Office of Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee...
Mr. Duong Van Luong also served as Vice Chairman of Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee (from April 2019 to April 2022); Secretary of Thai Nguyen City Party Committee (from May 2022 to June 2025).
After arranging administrative units and implementing the 2-level government model, Mr. Duong Van Luong held the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of Phan Dinh Phung ward.
