Accordingly, on March 7, Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee Do Minh Tuan signed a decision to accept and appoint Mr. Le Quang Hung, Chairman of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee, to hold the position of Director of Thanh Hoa Provincial Department of Finance.
According to the decision, the appointment period for Mr. Le Quang Hung is 5 years and takes effect from March 7, 2025.
Previously, on February 26, the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province announced a resolution to merge departments, establish 6 new departments and decisions on the transfer and appointment of leaders after the merger.
In the decisions on transfer and appointment, the Department of Finance has 8 deputy directors of the department including Mr. Nguyen Van Tu, Le Minh Nghia, Le Van Tien, Luong Tien Thanh, Pham Viet Bac, Nguyen Hai Duc, Nguyen Duc Thinh, Truong Trong Tuan.
Mr. Le Minh Nghia, Deputy Director, was assigned to be in charge of the Department of Finance until the position of Director of the Department of Finance was completed.
Up to now, after more than 10 days, the Department of Finance of Thanh Hoa province has had a new Director after merging 2 departments including the Department of Finance and the Department of Planning and Investment.
Mr. Le Quang Hung, born in 1971, is from Thieu Giao commune, Thieu Hoa district, Thanh Hoa province. Before being appointed as Director of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Department of Finance, he was a member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Party Inspection Committee, Head of the Economic - Budget Committee of the Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Council.
