The Government has issued Resolution No. 262/NQ-CP dated September 5, 2026, the regular Government meeting in August 2026.
The resolution requires strengthening inspection work, resolving complaints and denunciations, preventing and combating corruption, negativity, and wastefulness; promptly detecting, preventing, and strictly handling violations.
Promptly implement inspection conclusions; have measures to handle and effectively exploit redundant houses and land after arranging administrative units.
Improve the quality of the contingent of cadres, civil servants, and public employees by linking assessment with task performance results; resolutely overcome the situation of avoidance, shirking, fear of wrongdoing, fear of responsibility.
In Resolution No. 262/NQ-CP, the Government requested the Government Inspectorate to preside over and coordinate with agencies and localities to strengthen state management of citizen reception, complaint and denunciation resolution, and minimize citizens' cross-level complaints and mass gatherings at central agency headquarters.
Continue to review and have measures to definitively resolve complaints, denunciations, complicated and prolonged cases as directed by General Secretary and President To Lam.
Urge inspection of problematic projects; focus on completing and concluding inspections of difficult and prolonged projects for effective and transparent handling. Accelerate the issuance of conclusions on planned inspections and unexpected cases under the direction of the Prime Minister and competent authorities.
Monitor, inspect, and urge the handling after inspection, ensuring strict handling of violations of relevant organizations and individuals; proposing measures to handle cases of slow implementation or failure to implement the inspection conclusions issued.
The Government Inspectorate is also assigned to guide ministries, agencies, and localities to develop an inspection plan for 2027.
The Ministry of Public Security presides over and coordinates with agencies and localities to continue to do a good job of forecasting, firmly grasp the situation, and promptly advise Party and State leaders on policies and solutions to ensure national security and interests.
Absolutely protect the safety of key targets, projects, important political, foreign affairs, cultural, and social events of the country. Deploy synchronously security measures in strategic and key areas and fields.
Effectively implement the Politburo's Resolutions on national security strategy, on building a disciplined, safe, civilized, harmonious, and developed society.
Strive to complete the goal of building 30% of communes, wards, and special zones free of drugs, ensuring efficiency and substance; build a revolutionary, regular, elite, and modern Public Security force.
Implement strong solutions to ensure traffic order and safety, urban order, especially during the peak month of traffic safety.
Strengthen fire and explosion prevention and control; continue to remove difficulties and obstacles in fire prevention and fighting; propagate and guide fire prevention and fighting, rescue and relief for people, organizations, and businesses.
Proactively mobilize forces and vehicles to be on duty, ready to fight fires, rescue, and handle incidents during the rainy and flood season.
Continue to proactively promote the role of the Standing Agency of the Central Steering Committee for Science and Technology Development, Innovation and Digital Transformation; urgently develop a program to adjust and supplement the tasks of the Steering Committee until the end of 2026, and submit it to the Prime Minister and the Head of the Steering Committee before September 10, 2026.
