On July 25, information from the Government Inspectorate said that Deputy Inspector General Duong Quoc Huy had just chaired a ceremony to announce the decision to inspect a number of projects with difficulties and problems at the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, Lao Cai province and Thai Nguyen province.
At the announcement ceremony, Mr. Hoang Van Ha - Deputy Director of Department VIII announced the full text of Decision No. 674/QD-TTCP of the Government Inspector General.
Accordingly, the Inspection Team consists of 20 members led by Mr. Hoang Van Ha - Deputy Director of Department VIII. The inspection period is from the implementation of the project to July 1, 2025. If necessary, content related to before or after the above inspection period can be considered. The inspection period is 45 days, from the date of announcement of the inspection decision.
At the announcement ceremony of the inspection decision, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Tuc - Head of the Department of Supervision and Appraisal of Area 1 and the fields of agriculture, environment and industry (Department 1, Department XIII) announced the decision to establish an Inspection Team according to Decision No. 674/QD-TTCP dated July 23, 2025 of the Government Inspector General.
Speaking at the announcement ceremony of the Inspection Decision, Deputy Inspector General of the Government Duong Quoc Huy said that the inspection work aims to clarify the reasons why works and projects at the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, Lao Cai province and Thai Nguyen province are facing difficulties, obstacles, delays, prolonged backlogs, low efficiency and are at risk of causing loss and waste of resources.
Thereby, it is possible to detect shortcomings and limitations in policies and laws, clearly identify responsibilities and propose measures to handle violations (if any). At the same time, the inspection results will be an important basis for competent authorities to review and handle, contributing to unlocking resources and promoting socio-economic development.
Deputy Inspector General Duong Quoc Huy directed the Inspection Team to seriously implement all contents in accordance with the provisions of law and the inspection plan approved by the Government Inspector General, ensuring the right focus, key points, quality and achieving the highest efficiency.
The Deputy Inspector General of the Government suggested that the leaders of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, the People's Committees of Lao Cai and Thai Nguyen provinces closely coordinate, direct relevant units to provide full information and documents and create favorable conditions for the Inspection Team to successfully complete its tasks.
