On May 7, the Standing Committee of the Nghe An Provincial People's Committee held a meeting to give opinions on a number of important contents under its authority, before submitting them to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee. Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Hong Vinh - Secretary of the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee chaired the meeting.
At the meeting, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Committee agreed on the content of the Scheme of arranging the inspection system in the direction of streamlined, performance and efficiency according to the Conclusion No. 134-KL/TW of the Politburo and Decision No. 755/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister.
Currently, the whole province has 33 inspection units with a total of 269 civil servants. According to the new project, the activities of 12 Department Inspectors and 20 District Inspectors will be terminated, with only one unit remaining, the Provincial Inspectorate. After the arrangement, the Provincial Inspectorate has 9 specialized departments with 151 civil servants, including the Chief Inspector and 3 Deputy Chief Inspectorates.
Also at the meeting, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Committee agreed on the policy of consolidating 7 irrigation One -member Co., Ltd. in the province into Nghe An Irrigation One Member Co., Ltd to streamline the apparatus, implementing the Government's orientation in the irrigation strategy until 2030, with a vision to 2045.
