At the meeting, the People's Council of Vinh Phuc province reviewed and approved the Proposal on promulgating a Resolution on the establishment and termination of a number of specialized agencies under the Provincial People's Committee to implement the policy of streamlining the apparatus according to the direction of the Provincial Party Executive Committee and the Provincial Party Standing Committee; promptly specify the policies and resolutions of the Party Central Committee on the implementation of streamlining the apparatus of the political system, operating effectively, efficiently and efficiently; reducing units.
Accordingly, the People's Council of Vinh Phuc province decided to establish 6 departments, including Finance, Construction, Agriculture and Environment, Science and Technology, Home Affairs, Ethnic Affairs and Religion; dissolve the Department of Foreign Affairs. After the arrangement, the specialized agencies under the Provincial People's Committee will be reduced from 19 departments and branches to 13 departments and branches, reducing 6 departments.
Speaking at the closing session, Vice Chairman of Vinh Phuc Provincial People's Council Ha Quang Tien suggested that immediately after the session, the Provincial People's Committee urgently announce the resolutions of the Provincial People's Council on the establishment and dissolution of specialized agencies under the Provincial People's Committee; stipulate specific tasks, powers and organizational structure of departments and branches; arrange and streamline the organizational structure within departments; perfect the staff; arrange headquarters and assets according to regulations.
Departments and branches established and reorganized into operation from March 1, 2025 must ensure effective, efficient, and smooth operations, without interruption of work, and without vacant areas and fields; promote digital transformation, and reform administrative procedures.
