Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh signed and issued Decision No. 1519/QD-TTg dated December 5, 2024 of the Prime Minister on disciplinary action against Mr. Nguyen Ngoc - former Vice Chairman of Binh Thuan Provincial People's Committee.
Accordingly, disciplinary action was taken in the form of removing the position of Vice Chairman of Binh Thuan Provincial People's Committee for the 2011-2016 term for Mr. Nguyen Ngoc - former Vice Chairman of Binh Thuan Provincial People's Committee.
Mr. Nguyen Ngoc has committed violations and shortcomings in his work and the Secretariat has taken party discipline; the disciplinary period is calculated from the date of announcement of Decision No. 1510-QDNS/TW dated August 27, 2024 of the Secretariat on taking party discipline.
Previously, the Inspection Committee of Binh Thuan Provincial Party Committee (term XIV) held its 39th meeting. At this meeting, the Inspection Committee of the Provincial Party Committee reviewed and concluded:
In 2015, as Vice Chairman of Binh Thuan Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc was irresponsible in performing his assigned tasks, agreeing with the land price plan proposed by the Provincial Department of Natural Resources and Environment to advise the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to sign and issue Decision No. 3371/QD-UBND dated November 25, 2015.
In which, the approval of specific land prices to calculate land use fees for 363,523.6 m2 allowed to change land use purpose of Phan Thiet coastal urban tourism project does not have sufficient basis according to the provisions of law, causing great damage to the state budget.
