On the afternoon of June 29, the Party Committee and Directors of Quang Nam Provincial Police and Da Nang City Police held a ceremony to announce the decision of the Minister of Public Security and the Director of City Police on the organization and staff according to the Resolution of the National Assembly and the National Assembly Standing Committee on the arrangement of administrative units at the provincial and commune levels.
The conference was held in person at the Da Nang City Police Hall and connected online to local Police stations. Major General Nguyen Huu Hop, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Party Secretary, Director of Quang Nam Provincial Police ( decided by the Minister of Public Security to hold the position of Director of Da Nang City Police from July 1, 2025) chaired the Ceremony.
At the ceremony, immediately after Major General Nguyen Huu Hop, Director of Da Nang City Police (new) was introduced, authorized by the Minister of Public Security and Director of City Police, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thi Xuan Tien, Head of the Organization and Personnel Department of Quang Nam Provincial Police, announced decisions on personnel work.
Accordingly, on June 22, 2025, the Minister of Public Security decided to arrange the Deputy Director of Da Nang City Police when merging Quang Nam Provincial Police into Da Nang City Police.
Including: Colonel Nguyen Dai Dong, Deputy Director of Da Nang City Police before the merger; Colonel Nguyen Van Tang, Deputy Director of Da Nang City Police before the merger; Lieutenant Colonel Tran Minh Nguyen, Deputy Director of Da Nang City Police before the merger; Colonel Nguyen Ha Lai, Deputy Director of Quang Nam Provincial Police before the merger; Colonel Nguyen Thanh Long, Deputy Director of Quang Nam Provincial Police before the merger; Colonel Vo Thi Trinh, Deputy Director of Quang Nam Provincial Police before the merger; Colonel Nguyen Xuan Hoang, Deputy Director of Quang Nam Provincial Police before the merger.
At the same time, the Decision of the Minister of Public Security was announced for Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Kim Trung, Deputy Director of Da Nang City Police, to end the secondment at the Da Nang City Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee to take up the job and hold the position of Deputy Director of Da Nang City Police from July 1, 2025.
On this occasion, authorized by the new Director of Da Nang City Police, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thi Xuan Tien announced the decision to arrange 28 comrades to hold the position of Department Head and equivalent; 93 comrades were arranged to hold the position of Head of Commune and Ward Police under Da Nang City after the merger.
