On the morning of February 20, in Hanoi, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) held the 3rd Conference of the 10th tenure.
Speaking at the opening of the conference, Mr. Do Van Chien - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front - emphasized that the entire Party, people, and army are making the highest efforts, accelerating to complete the goals and tasks set by the 13th National Party Congress; resolutely carrying out the revolution of arranging and streamlining the organization of the political system to operate effectively, efficiently, and effectively. The National Assembly has just concluded its 9th Extraordinary Session.
According to Mr. Do Van Chien, the Politburo has decided to establish a Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central organizations.
Accordingly, the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Central organizations including Party organizations in the Vietnam Fatherland Front Agency, socio-political organizations, and mass organizations at the Central level are assigned tasks by the Party and the State.
With 22 Party Committees and affiliated Party cells, about 5,000 Party members and Party Committees have the function of leading and orienting the activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, political organizations and mass organizations assigned by the Party and the State.
Mr. Do Van Chien also emphasized the focus on organizing the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 10th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front as determined.
With that requirement, Mr. Do Van Chien suggested that the delegates focus on the following contents: Discussing and approving the working regulations of the Central Committee, the Presidium, the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, 10th tenure, 2024-2029; Drafting the full-term working program of the Presidium and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, 10th tenure, 2024-2029; performing personnel work according to authority; emulation and reward work in 2024.
Another very important content is to reflect the situation, thoughts and aspirations of all classes of people, propose and recommend solutions to strongly promote the tradition and strength of national solidarity in the era of national growth.
Emphasizing the need for more delegates to express their opinions, Mr. Do Van Chien said that the conference chairman will divide the discussion group with the desire to listen to more opinions of the Committee members.
The Presidium will direct the gathering, analysis, evaluation and reflection with the leaders of the Party, State and competent agencies, so that we can create the highest social consensus among all classes of people, be unanimous and join hands to successfully implement the correct and very new policies and guidelines, very drastically of our Party and State.
According to Mr. Do Van Chien, from the historical experience of 4,000 years of building and defending the country of our people, it shows that in historical times, we must have historical decisions and must have historical factors.
Therefore, this is a time of historical significance for the new era of our country. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the quality and operation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front right from the conferences.
