1. In the morning, the Party Central Committee worked in the Hall. General Secretary To Lam delivered the opening speech at the Conference. Comrade Luong Cuong, Politburo member, President, on behalf of the Politburo chaired the Central Conference.
The Party Central Committee has agreed on the plan to complete the Draft Document to submit to the 14th National Congress, including 3 reports:
(1) New political report (based on the integration of the contents of 3 reports: Political report, Socio-economic report and Summary report on Party building and Party Charter implementation);
(2) Report on the implementation of the Party Charter;
(3) Report summarizing a number of theoretical and practical issues on the reformation under the socialist orientation over the past 40 years in Vietnam. The Central Government implements a number of contents on personnel work.
2. In the afternoon, the Party Central Committee worked in groups, discussing the following groups of issues:
(1) Regarding the direction of personnel work of the 14th National Party Congress; standards, structure, number and allocation of delegates attending the 14th National Party Congress.
(2) The draft documents submitted to the 14th National Party Congress according to the new orientation have been agreed upon by the Party Central Committee.
(3) Some contents that need to be amended and supplemented in the Central resolutions to create a political and legal basis for the goal of continuing to reform and innovate the country in the coming time include: Land sector (Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW, dated June 16, 2022); building a socialist rule-of-law state (Resolution No. 27-NQ/TW, dated November 9, 2022); education and training (Resolution No. 29-NQ/TW, dated November 4, 2013; Resolution No. 19-NQ/TW, dated October 25, 2017). The orientation is to adjust the National Master Plan for the period 2021 - 2030 and vision to 2050.
