On the morning of January 13, in Hanoi, Politburo Member, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man attended the Conference to collect opinions from voters in his workplace for 122 people introduced by the National Assembly Standing Committee to run for National Assembly deputies (NA deputies) working full-time in the XVI term at the Central level, belonging to the bloc of agencies of the National Assembly, the National Assembly Office, and advisory and assisting agencies of the National Assembly Party Committee.
The organization of a conference to collect opinions from voters in the workplace for candidates of full-time National Assembly deputies of the XVI term at the Central level is an opportunity for voters in the workplace to compare with the standards of National Assembly deputies to comment and express their trust in candidates of National Assembly deputies.
The conference listened to disseminate the standards of NA deputies; cases that are not eligible for candidacy; the list of 122 people recommended by the National Assembly Standing Committee for candidacy for NA deputies working full-time in the 16th term at the Central level belonging to the bloc of agencies of the National Assembly, the National Assembly Office, and advisory and assisting agencies of the National Assembly Party Committee.
In addition to the standards specified in the Law on Election of National Assembly Deputies and People's Council Deputies, candidates for National Assembly Deputies who are cadres and civil servants working in agencies, units, and organizations at the Central level must meet the standards, conditions and age specified in Guidance No. 36 of the Central Organization Committee, guiding the personnel work of National Assembly Deputies of the XVI term and People's Council Deputies at all levels for the 2026 - 2031 term.

At the Conference, through studying dossiers and comparing regulations on standards, voters said that the delegates introduced to run for NA Deputy of the XVI term all fully meet the conditions on standards, political qualities, ethics, lifestyle, working capacity, health and level of confidence.
For the delegates introduced for re-election, they have shown bravery, intelligence and dedication through one or more National Assembly terms, making very effective, responsible, and drastic contributions to the success of the recent National Assembly terms.
In particular, National Assembly deputies in the 15th National Assembly term with many difficulties and challenges, but the National Assembly has completed a very large volume of work, many unprecedented tasks.
For delegates who are introduced to run for the first time, voters find that they are all key leaders of advisory and assisting units, have contributed for many years in their roles, have full understanding and experience of the activities of the National Assembly, and have full qualifications, capacity and qualities to meet the conditions for candidates for NA deputies.
The Conference voted and unanimously approved 100% of the list of 122 candidates introduced by the National Assembly Standing Committee to be nominated as full-time National Assembly deputies for the XVI term at the Central level under the agencies of the National Assembly, the National Assembly Office, and the advisory and assisting agencies of the National Assembly Party Committee.
