The Central Steering Committee on summarizing the implementation of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW, dated October 25, 2017 of the 12th Central Executive Committee "Some issues on continuing to innovate and reorganize the apparatus of the political system to be streamlined and operate effectively and efficiently" has just issued Official Dispatch No. 43-CV/BCD on the Plan to continue reorganizing the apparatus of the political system.

Official dispatch No. 43-CV/BCD outlines the contents and tasks for implementation after the resolution and conclusions of the 11th Conference of the 13th Central Executive Committee.

In which the National Assembly Party Committee is assigned to lead and direct:

Implementation of procedures and amendments and supplements to a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution (to be completed before June 30, 2025).

The National Assembly Standing Committee passed a resolution to reorganize and reorganize commune-level administrative units (to be completed before June 30, 2025); the National Assembly passed a resolution to merge provincial-level administrative units (organized by the People's Council and the Provincial People's Committee), to be completed before June 30, 2025.

Approving relevant laws and resolutions to implement the policy of amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution, continuing to reorganize administrative units, building a model of organizing local government at 2 levels.

The document also clearly stated that the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front and Central organizations preside over and coordinate with the Central Organizing Committee and relevant agencies:

Advising the Politburo to issue decisions on the functions, tasks, and organizational structure of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Agency (to be completed before April 25, 2025).

Arrange socio-political organizations and mass associations assigned by the Party and State under the Vietnam Fatherland Front (to be completed before July 15, 2025).

The decision to reorganize affiliated party organizations (in socio-political organizations, mass organizations assigned by the Party and the State) is consistent with the organization model after the reorganization, to be completed before June 30, 2025.

Propose amending and supplementing relevant legal regulations to implement the policy of arranging administrative units and local government organizations at 2 levels.

Also according to Official Dispatch No. 43-CV/BCD, the Party Committee of the Supreme People's Court and the Party Committee of the Supreme People's Procuracy preside over and coordinate with relevant Party committees and Party organizations to implement the arrangement of the system of local courts and prosecutor's examinations (to be completed before June 30, 2025); propose amendments and supplements to relevant legal regulations to implement the policy of arranging administrative units and local government organizations at 2 levels.
