On the afternoon of February 25, the Dak Song District People's Council, term V, 2021-2026, held a thematic session to review and decide on a number of important contents.
At the session, the Dak Song District People's Council approved the proposal to remove Mr. Ngo Duc Trong, former Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the Dak Song District People's Committee, from the duties of a delegate of the Dak Song District People's Council for the 2021 - 2026 term.
Previously, the Dak Nong Provincial Party Committee transferred and appointed Mr. Trong to join the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee and hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Gia Nghia City Party Committee, term 2020 - 2025 to introduce and elect the Chairman of the Gia Nghia City People's Committee, term 2021 - 2026.
The session approved the proposal on personnel introduction and proposal to elect Mr. Tran Manh Hung, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, as Chairman of the Dak Song District People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.
As a result, Mr. Tran Manh Hung was elected by the District People's Council to hold the position of Chairman of the Dak Song District People's Committee, term 2021 - 2026, with 100% of the votes.
Speaking on receiving the assignment, the new Chairman of the Dak Song District People's Committee thanked the People's Council delegates for their trust and election to hold the position of Chairman of the District People's Committee.
Mr. Tran Manh Hung promised to strive, build a united collective, and work with the local Party Committee, government and people to develop more and more.
The whole Dak Song district currently has more than 14,000 hectares of pepper crops, so it is considered the capital of this crop in Dak Nong province.
Currently, the locality is actively implementing a program to connect, promote and develop pepper plants in a sustainable direction to ensure output and increase income for people.
