At the meeting, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Huadian Science and Technology Group (Hoa Dien) Bang Cuong Binh said that the investment and business strategy in Vietnam is 1+1+1+N (one business establishment in Vietnam + one research center in Vietnam + one base, manufacturing facility in Vietnam + many cooperation projects), actively contributing to the development and green transformation process of Vietnam.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh highly appreciated Hoa Dien's long-term investment strategy in Vietnam, this is a "right and accurate" choice both in the short term and in the long term; welcomed the implementation of the research and development center; highly appreciated the group's participation in social security and human resource training.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh suggested that the group continue to expand effective investment in Vietnam, especially clean electricity, wind power, solar power, hydrogen, contributing to green energy conversion, sustainable development; enhancing technology transfer, exchanging experiences in governance, training human resources, cooperating with Vietnamese partners, especially the Electricity Group, contributing to promoting Vietnam - China relations.
Also on the morning of August 31, the Prime Minister received Mr. Vuong Gia Trung - Vice President of Yadea Science and Technology Group, the world's leading two-wheeled electric vehicle manufacturer. Yadea wishes to participate in projects to develop the two-wheeled electric vehicle industry and supporting services for the industry, contributing to building green urban transport in Vietnam; participating in promoting conversion projects and contributing to building green transport in Vietnam.
Welcoming the group to expand investment, build a research and development center in Vietnam, the Prime Minister proposed that Yadea expand investment in the electric vehicle sector in Vietnam in the direction of technology transfer, higher localization rate, and use of many Vietnamese workers; participate in green transportation transformation in Vietnam; cooperate in human resource training with Vietnam Electricity Group, National Industry - Energy Group, and Military Industry - Telecommunications Group.
Next, the Prime Minister received Chairman of the Board of Directors of Duong Ve Dong Hoa Thiet Design Group. Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh welcomed the group's determination to strengthen cooperation with Vietnam in the direction of expanding quantity and improving quality as a strategic, long-term issue; suggested that Hoa Thiet continue to cooperate and support Vietnamese partners, including large corporations in design, technical consulting in fields such as transportation, electricity, oil and gas, digital infrastructure... contributing to building an ecosystem for the development of professional design and technical consulting.
Emphasizing the need to value time, intelligence and decisiveness, the Prime Minister suggested Hoa Thiet to participate in consulting and supporting to complete the Lang Son - Cao Bang expressway project this year; consulting on the exploitation and promotion of the Red River in a more effective and sustainable direction; financial cooperation, participating in the development of international financial centers in Vietnam...
Agreeing with the orientations of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, the leader of Hoa Thiet Group said that he will discuss with partners and agencies on the Vietnamese side to specifically implement in the coming time.
