According to the Government Authority of Information and Communications, on September 13, in New Delhi, India, Politburo Member, Prime Minister Le Minh Hung attended the 18th BRICS Summit discussion session with the theme "Resilience, Innovation, Cooperation and Sustainable Development: Shaping the Future of Inclusive Global Growth", chaired by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BRICS Chairman in 2026.
The conference was attended by heads of state, heads of government and many senior leaders of member countries, partner countries, guests, international and regional organizations. This is the most important event in India's BRICS Chairmanship Year 2026, marking the 20-year journey of BRICS formation and development.

In his speech at the Conference, Prime Minister Le Minh Hung will share Vietnam's vision, assessment and proposals as a BRICS partner country on many major issues raised in international cooperation related to peace, promoting economic growth, sustainable development and solving global challenges.
Thereby, affirming the message that Vietnam wishes to work with BRICS member countries and partners as well as the international community to promote new growth drivers, strengthen connectivity and development cooperation, promote the voice and role of emerging economies and developing countries, towards a inclusive and sustainable development future with development achievements widely shared among all people.

The 18th BRICS Summit will take place on September 12 and 13 in India, with the theme "Building resilient, innovative, cooperative and sustainable development platforms". During its 2026 Presidency, India actively promotes BRICS to continue implementing initiatives adopted at the 2025 Summit (in Brazil), and propose new initiatives in the fields of labor, employment, empowerment for women, startups, transportation, energy, urban areas, agriculture, infrastructure, and data.
