In the afternoon of July 8, at the Government Headquarters, Politburo Member, Prime Minister Le Minh Hung chaired a meeting of the Central Steering Committee for organizing judgment enforcement and recovery of assets appropriated and lost in cases.
Also attending were Politburo Member, Standing Deputy Prime Minister Pham Gia Tuc; Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court Nguyen Van Quang and members of the Steering Committee.

At the meeting, members of the Steering Committee, ministries, branches, localities and relevant agencies actively participated in discussing, analyzing, and clarifying the results achieved as well as the difficulties and obstacles in the process of organizing the execution of the case and the asset handling plan for debt recovery.
The Steering Committee requests the Ministry of Justice to urgently complete the draft working regulations, regulations on functions, assignment of tasks of the Steering Committee members; coordinate with the State Bank of Vietnam and relevant agencies to propose solutions to remove difficulties and obstacles in judgment enforcement and asset handling; summarize the list, classify assets, propose solutions, roadmaps, deadlines for handling and clearly assign responsibilities to ministries, agencies, and localities.

Emphasizing that this is a difficult and complex task, the Steering Committee requests to further strengthen coordination and enhance the responsibility of ministries, agencies, and localities, closely follow the direction of competent authorities to carry out judgment enforcement and develop effective, timely, strict, and regulated asset handling plans, contributing to maximizing the recovery of state assets and ensuring the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of relevant subjects.
