At 11:30 a.m. on June 24 (local time, 10:30 a.m. on the same day, Vietnam time), the plane carrying Politburo member and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and the Vietnamese delegation arrived at Tan Hai International Airport, Tianjin city, starting a working trip to attend the 16th Annual Pioneer Conference of the World Economic Forum (WEF 16 Tianjin) and work in China.
At Tan Hai airport, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and the Vietnamese delegation were welcomed by Deputy Mayor of Tianjin City, Vuong Tu Phong; Chinese Ambassador to Vietnam He Wei; Reporter of the Chinese Prime Minister; Vietnamese Ambassador to China Pham Thanh Binh; officials and staff of the Embassy and representatives of the Vietnamese community in China.
This is the first working trip of a key Vietnamese leader to China in 2025, taking place right after the very successful state visit of General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping to Vietnam ( last April), in the context that Vietnam and China are celebrating the 75th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations and jointly implementing the Humanitarian Exchange Year.

Attending the 16th WEF Conference in Tianjin, with the theme "The spirit of entrepreneurship in a new era", Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh will attend the Opening Session of the Conference, Policy Dialogue Session with the WEF Executive Chairman, Discussion Session "Is the Asian Decade facing challenges?" and other related activities.
The Prime Minister and representatives of the government, businesses, international organizations, and scholars will discuss focusing on 5 contents including: World economic declaration; China's prospects; industrial transformation; investment in people and planets; energy and new materials.
On this occasion, the Prime Minister will have meetings and contacts with WEF leaders, leaders of countries and international organizations attending the conference to promote cooperation in all fields.
In bilateral activities with China, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh will hold talks with senior leaders of China; attend the Vietnam - China Business Forum; work with leaders of major Chinese corporations; meet with the community and Vietnamese students in China; and spend time surveying economic and social institutions, learning about China's economic development models such as stock exchanges, free trade zones, etc.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh's working trip this time continues to realize and deepen the important common perception reached between the top leaders of the two Parties and countries, maintaining and consolidating the steady and positive development momentum of Vietnam - China relations, while enhancing Vietnam's position in global cooperation mechanisms, opening up many specific and practical cooperation opportunities for the country's prosperous and sustainable development in the new era.
