Early on June 24, Politburo member and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh left for the 16th Annual Pioneer Conference of the World Economic Forum held in Tianjin (WEF 16 Tianjin) and worked in China from June 24 to 27 at the invitation of Chinese Premier Li Qiang and Chairman and CEO of the World Economic Forum Borge Brende.

The 16th WEF ASEAN Conference taking place from June 24-27 is the second largest and most important event of the year of the World Economic Forum after WEF Davos; a forum for countries to discuss long-term vision and solutions for key issues for global economic development.
Attending the conference, Vietnam continued to affirm its foreign policy of independence, self-reliance, multilateralization, diversification, proactiveness, active, comprehensive, extensive and effective international integration; at the same time conveying the message of determination and aspiration of Vietnam to enter a new era of development, an era of national growth.
At the events of the conference, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation will participate, contribute and seek solutions to economic and development issues of the region and the world; share Vietnam's viewpoints, vision and experience; promote the national image, policies and guidelines of the Party and State; create and promote cooperation opportunities with governments and businesses.
Also during the working trip, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh had bilateral activities with China to actively and effectively implement the common perceptions of the senior leaders of the two Parties and countries on substantive cooperation in various fields; bringing the Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership and the Vietnam - China Community of Shared Future to the strategic significance of active and comprehensive development.
