On November 27, in Hanoi, Politburo member and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh attended the 8th National Congress of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association.
Speaking at the congress, the Prime Minister emphasized that the business community is the main material producing force of the Vietnamese economy, playing a very important role in the cause of building and developing the socialist country of Vietnam.
After nearly 40 years of renovation, Vietnam's economy has grown quite impressively. GDP in 2025 is estimated to reach over 510 billion USD, GDP per capita will reach about 5,000 USD, bringing our country officially to join the group of countries with high average incomes.
In the coming time, the Prime Minister requested the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association to implement 6 pioneers.
First, pioneering in building a generation of young entrepreneurs with revolutionary ideals, patriotism, national pride, the desire to contribute burningly, daring to commit to difficult things and new things.
Second, pioneering in startups, innovation, digital transformation, green transformation, application of artificial intelligence, big data, semiconductors... in production and business; building a green economic model, a circular economy according to ESG standards, meeting the increasingly high requirements of major markets.
Third, pioneering in linking and supporting businesses. The young business community needs to take the lead in promoting the linkage of private enterprises, business households... with state-owned enterprises and FDI enterprises; exploiting the strengths of each region to jointly form value chains, innovation clusters, and elevate Vietnamese brands.
"Solidarity, cooperation and dialogue are indispensable in the development process," said the Prime Minister.
Fourth, pioneering in contributing to policy development, continuing to promote the role of the voice of the young business community; continuing to proactively collect, synthesize information, reflect, and recommend young businesses, and summarize problems in production and business, especially related to legal documents.
Fifth, pioneering and accompanying the Party, State and people to successfully implement the Party's guidelines, policies and resolutions, the State's policies and laws and the aspirations of the people; pioneering in researching, applying science, technology, innovation, leading the digital transformation process, green transformation of the country...
Sixth, pioneering in implementing social responsibility, promoting the tradition of "sharing sweetness, sharing good fruits", "mutual love, mutual assistance", "national love, compatriotism".
The business community and young businesses need to have more social activities, support people and communities, such as participating in supporting localities and people affected by natural disasters, floods, and droughts; building solidarity houses; helping families with meritorious services to the country.
In particular, the Prime Minister proposed that the Association assign specific tasks to a number of businesses and entrepreneurs in developing social housing; call on businesses and young entrepreneurs to pioneer in this work with the highest spirit of commitment and humanity, "not saying no, not saying difficult, not saying yes but not doing".
This is also a culture that needs to be built in the young business community, because generations of young people in the country always carry noble missions and always complete them excellently.
