Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has just signed Decisions approving the results of the election and dismissal of the Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.
In Decision No. 2588/QD-TTg, the Prime Minister approved the election results for the position of Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term for Mr. Vo Trong Hai - Deputy Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.
Mr. Vo Trong Hai was born on February 20, 1968, hometown Hoa Lac commune, old Duc Tho district, Ha Tinh province; qualifications: Bachelor of Law, Professional Commander - Border Guard University; Senior in political theory.
Before being transferred to Nghe An, Mr. Vo Trong Hai held many important positions such as: Head of Cau Treo International Border Gate Border Guard Station, Border Guard of Ha Tinh province; Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Head of the Ha Tinh Provincial Internal Affairs Committee; Director of Ha Tinh Provincial Police; Director of Nghe An Provincial Police.
From April 2021 to February 2025, Mr. Vo Trong Hai will be Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province. From February 2025 to September 2025, Mr. Vo Trong Hai will be Deputy Secretary of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term and Chairman of the Ha Tinh Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.
On November 18, the People's Council of Nghe An province elected Mr. Vo Trong Hai, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee to hold the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province for the 2021-2026 term.
In Decision 2587/QD-TTg, the Prime Minister also approved the results of the dismissal of Mr. Le Hong Vinh from the position of Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.
Previously, on November 14, 2025, the Central Party Secretariat decided that Mr. Le Hong Vinh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province would cease to participate in the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee and cease to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term; transfer and appoint Mr. Le Hong Vinh to participate in the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee and hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.
On November 17, 2025, the People's Council of Quang Tri province elected Mr. Le Hong Vinh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee to hold the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Tri province, term 2021-2026.
