On the afternoon of August 30, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh chaired a business meeting conference with the theme "80 years of businesses accompanying the country".
On behalf of the Party and State leaders, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh presented the First Class Fatherland Protection Medal to the Military Industry - Telecommunications Group (Viettel) and the Military Bank (MB); presented the Second Class Fatherland Protection Medal to the 18th Army Corps and Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN).
Speaking at the event, the Prime Minister issued 3 main messages.
The first message: For the past 80 years, the business community has always followed the Party to accompany the nation, attached to the fate of the country.
The Prime Minister expressed that we are very happy that the business community and business community are increasingly growing, promoting their leading and pioneering role and mission in socio-economic development and deep integration with the world.
Second message: The Party and State always pay special attention, support, and create favorable conditions for the business community and entrepreneurs to develop sustainably.
Accordingly, focus on training and developing high-quality human resources, with outstanding compensation policies to attract talent, especially in high-tech fields and new industries, creating momentum to strongly promote the development of businesses and entrepreneurs.
Prioritize and support large enterprises, pioneering in leading a number of key and important sectors and fields; encourage and support enterprises to reach international markets and build international brands.
The third message: Entering a new era - an era of wealth, civilization, prosperity, and prosperity, standing shoulder to shoulder with the world powers, the Party and State hope that the business community and entrepreneurs will promote their glorious, heroic, and constantly innovative and creative 8-year tradition, with the aspiration to rise strongly, pioneering with the whole country to strive to successfully implement the two 100-year strategic goals set out in the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress.
The Prime Minister said that we aim to have about 2 million enterprises by 2030, contributing 55-58% of GDP, creating jobs for 84-85% of the workforce; increase labor productivity by 8.5-9.5%/year; by 2045, there will be at least 3 million enterprises, contributing over 60% of GDP, having international competitiveness, participating deeply in the global value chain.
The head of the Government suggested that the business community and entrepreneurs accompany the Government, ministries, branches and localities to promote the implementation of 3 strategic breakthroughs in the direction of "open institutions - smooth infrastructure - smart entrepreneurs".
The Prime Minister requested ministries, branches and localities to continue to resolutely reorganize the apparatus; operate the 2-level local government model well; promote reform, simplify administrative procedures, and create all conveniences for people and businesses.
Focus on reviewing and perfecting institutions and laws, creating a favorable investment and business environment for the business community and investors. The spirit is to quickly change the state from "focus on management - if you can't manage, then ban" to the state of "actively and actively creating and serving people and businesses".
