On the afternoon of October 9 in Hanoi, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh chaired a meeting with representatives of outstanding enterprises and entrepreneurs nationwide.
Concluding the conference, the Prime Minister affirmed the Government's commitment to accompanying businesses and entrepreneurs in the spirit of creativity, integrity, action, and service to the people, including businesses and entrepreneurs.
The Prime Minister stated 5 wishes for businesses and entrepreneurs:
First, businesses and entrepreneurs are united in following the Party; because our Party has no other goal than to bring national independence, bring happiness and prosperity to the people, including entrepreneurs.
Second, businesses and entrepreneurs must uphold the spirit of great national unity, solidarity in the business community, national unity, and international solidarity.
Third, businesses and entrepreneurs combine the strength of businesses, entrepreneurs and the entire population into the strength of the nation, combine the strength of the nation with the strength of the times, combine internal strength with external strength to develop the country.
Fourth, businesses and entrepreneurs accompany the nation, steadfastly participate in national independence and move towards socialism to bring happiness and prosperity to the people.
Fifth, businesses and entrepreneurs together with the people create the combined strength of the entire nation, "the people make history", including businesses and entrepreneurs.
The head of the Government also requested businesses and entrepreneurs to implement "3 pioneers".
One is to pioneer, be exemplary, take the lead in science and technology, innovation, digital transformation; go straight to science and technology, strategy, core technology, contribute to creating a movement, create a trend of innovation for all people and contribute to building a digital nation.
Second is to be a pioneer, exemplary, and take the lead in production and business in accordance with the law, must effectively and efficiently contribute to building a socialist rule-of-law state.
Third is to pioneer, be exemplary, and take the lead in implementing Resolution 68 of the Politburo with the spirit that the private economy is the most important driving force of the national economy, contributing to building a socialist-oriented market economy under the leadership of the Party, management of the State and the mastery of the people.
"With these three pioneers, we will together reach out to the great ocean, go deep underground and fly high into the universe, so that our country can develop quickly and sustainably," the Prime Minister emphasized.
To implement specific, concise but call-on commitments, the Prime Minister said that he will continue to research, absorb and realize them in the direction of open institutions, smooth infrastructure, and smart governance.
"If institutions are not open, we must make them open; without open infrastructure, we cannot develop; and governance must be smart, there is no other way," the head of the Government emphasized.
At the conference, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, on behalf of the Party and State leaders, awarded the 3rd Class Labor Medal to 3 units; Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh awarded the Emulation Flag of the Government to 5 units; Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc awarded the Prime Minister's Certificate of Merit to 8 units.
