On the occasion of the New Year 2026 and the traditional Tet of the nation - Binh Ngo Spring 2026, in the evening of February 9, at the Government Headquarters, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his wife Le Thi Bich Tran hosted a reception for the Diplomatic Corps organized by the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

Attending the event were: Politburo Member, Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Hoai Trung; Deputy Prime Ministers; leaders of departments, ministries, branches, central agencies; Palestinian Ambassador to Vietnam Saadi Salama - Head of the Diplomatic Corps in Vietnam, along with Ambassadors, Charges d'Affaires, Heads of representatives of international organizations in Hanoi and spouses.

Speaking at the event, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh said that 2025 has passed, leaving many levels of ups and downs and breakthroughs. However, amidst those "reverse winds", peace, cooperation, and development are still the main flow, the thread connecting us all.

For Vietnam, the Prime Minister said that 2025 is a comprehensive test of the management capacity, adaptability and resilience of both the political system and businesses.

With the spirit of "The Party has led, the Government is unified, the National Assembly agrees, the people support, the Fatherland expects, international friends help, then only discuss doing, not backing down", Vietnam has overcome difficulties and challenges to achieve important development achievements.

In which, growth reached 8.02%, the highest in the region and belonging to the group of countries with high growth in the world; achieving and exceeding all 15/15 key socio-economic targets.
