At the conference, voters showed excitement and appreciated the activities of the Party and State leaders in recent years, especially emphasizing the important contributions to improving Vietnam's position in the international arena. Voter Le Thanh Truc (Deputy Director of Kim Hung Cooperative) recommended that there should be support solutions soon, and at the same time, consider negotiating with partners to restore the previous tax rate or make it more suitable. Voter Thanh Truc also proposed that there should be a specific strategic orientation for key industries that need to be prioritized for development in the Mekong Delta in the coming time.
Voter Pham Thi Thanh (Director of Thanh Thanh Cong Tourism Joint Stock Company Branch in Can Tho) suggested that there should be new solutions and strategic orientations that are more suitable to help the Vietnamese tourism industry adapt to changes in international policies, especially from major countries. At the same time, continue to promote foreign policies and trade - tourism promotion to ensure the competitive position of Vietnamese tourism in the international market in the coming time.
Voter Pham Thai Binh (Chairman of the Board of Directors of Trung An High-Tech Agricultural Joint Stock Company) suggested that there should be a support solution soon, and at the same time consider negotiating with the neighboring country to restore more suitable tax rates when rice products are imported into the market of the partner.
Voter Ngo Thi Thao (General Director of HANAGOLD Gold and Gemstone Joint Stock Company) suggested that there should be an orientation to promote the digitalization of the jewelry industry soon, contributing to creating a more transparent, fair and modern gold trading market in the coming time.
Voter Nguyen Chi Thao (Vice Chairman of the Can Tho City Business Association) proposed that the authorities continue to have specific orientation policies to support technology and telecommunications enterprises to overcome the current challenging period, especially in terms of capital, taxes and digital human resource development to meet development and integration requirements.
Speaking at the conference, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh assessed that this thematic meeting with voters is very appropriate in the context of the world situation having many fluctuations, affecting the operations of enterprises, at the same time, the Party and State identified private economic development as the most important driving force in growth.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh informed that the socio-economic situation in the first 4 months of 2025 achieved better results than the same period in 2024 in most areas. Accordingly, the highest economic growth compared to the same period from 2020 to present; the macro economy is stable, inflation is controlled, major balances are guaranteed.
The average CPI in the first quarter increased by 3.22%. Import and export reached over 202 billion USD, up 13.7% over the same period, exporting US $ 3.16 billion. State budget revenue is over VND 721,000 billion, reaching 36.7% of yearly estimates, up 29.3% over the same period. Attracting FDI reached US $ 10.98 billion, up 34.7%; FDI capital reached US $ 4.96 billion, up 7.2% (the highest compared to the first quarter in the past 5 years). The total retailer of goods and consumer service revenue increased by 9.9%. International visitors reached over 6 million, up 29.6%.
