Prime Minister prepares to work with Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City on 6 important contents

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, 9 Deputy Prime Ministers and Ministers and heads of sectors will chair working sessions with localities on 6 important contents.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has just signed Decision No. 339/QD-TTg assigning Government members to preside over working with localities to urge the implementation of the Resolution of the 14th Party Congress and Resolutions of the Government to successfully implement the socio-economic development plan for 2026.

The decision clearly states that the Prime Minister assigns tasks to Government members to preside over working with localities to urge implementation:

First, the Resolution of the 14th Party Congress, the Resolutions of the Government, handled according to their authority or proposed to competent authorities to handle and remove difficulties and obstacles, promote production and business, and disburse public investment capital.

Second, the situation of deploying and removing difficult, obstacleful, and prolonged projects according to Resolution No. 170/2024/QH15 and Resolution No. 265/2025/QH15 of the National Assembly.

Third, the situation of deploying key projects and works that were started in 2025.

Fourth, the situation of implementing national target programs.

Fifth, the situation of implementing 2-level local government.

Sixth, preparation for the election of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026-2031 term, in order to achieve the target of economic growth of over 10% in 2026 and the following years.

Government members proactively develop plans, organize working groups with localities (completed before March 8, 2026) in appropriate forms, report to the Prime Minister on the content and results of work, in which clearly analyze the causes of difficulties and obstacles and propose and recommend (if any).

The Prime Minister assigned the Chairmen of the People's Committees of provinces and cities to urgently direct the preparation of the report content and send it to the Government members chairing the working delegation before March 3, 2026 to serve the working session.

Ministries and central agencies with Ministers and Heads of agencies who are Government Members shall take the lead in working with localities, reporting to the Prime Minister the results of the working session before March 10, 2026, and at the same time send them to the Ministry of Finance for synthesis.
