On the afternoon of September 30, at the headquarters of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ha Tinh province, comrade Tran Cam Tu - Politburo member, Standing member of the Secretariat; comrade Ha Thi Nga - Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and the working delegation presented gifts to support the people of Ha Tinh to overcome the consequences of storm No. 10.
At the gift-giving ceremony, Mr. Vo Trong Hai - Chairman of Ha Tinh Provincial People's Committee quickly reported the damage to Ha Tinh province caused by storm No. 10.
Accordingly, the whole province had 1 death, 15 injuries; 84,584 houses damaged; 1,552 hectares of crops fell; 936.9 hectares of aquatic products were flooded, 9,400 m3 of cages were damaged; the total estimated aquatic product damage was 1,500 tons.
2,075 electric poles fell; 408 school locations were damaged, roofs were blown off; 68 medical facilities were damaged, roofs were blown off... The total estimated damage was more than 6 billion VND.
From the above damage, Ha Tinh province proposed that the Government pay attention to and support 560 billion VND to repair and upgrade to ensure the safety of some works and dams, safety downstream, and promote the effectiveness of serving people's production.
Proposed support of VND 1,050 billion, including support to repair and repair school construction items, purchase damaged equipment for educational institutions to gradually ensure safety and serve teaching work of VND 350 billion; medical facilities of VND 400 billion; repair urgent traffic and irrigation works of VND 300 billion to ensure timely stability of life and production after the storm and continue to respond to natural disasters during the 2025 storm season.
Speaking at the ceremony, Politburo member and Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu highly appreciated the proactive work of preventing storm No. 10 of the entire political system of Ha Tinh province.
Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu also sympathized with the damage caused by storm No. 10 to the people of Ha Tinh province.
Comrade Tran Cam Tu has requested the entire political system of Ha Tinh province to continue to focus on overcoming the consequences of storm No. 10, promptly visiting, encouraging, and sharing with families of people who died or were injured due to the impact of rain and storms. Focus on treating the injured so that they can recover soon.
Focus on restoring production, stabilizing people's lives soon, absolutely do not let people go hungry or lack after the storm.
At the ceremony, on behalf of the Party and State, Politburo member and Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu presented gifts to support Ha Tinh people in overcoming the consequences of storm No. 10.
Comrade Ha Thi Nga - Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee also presented 500 million VND from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to support the people of Ha Tinh to overcome the consequences of storm No. 10.
At the ceremony, a number of businesses also presented gifts to support Ha Tinh people to overcome the consequences of storms and floods.
Ha Tinh Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Duy Lam expressed his gratitude for the attention of the Party, State, and Vietnam Fatherland Front, and thanked the Standing Member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu for his attention and timely support for Ha Tinh people to overcome the consequences of storm No. 10.
