On February 22, the Government Office announced that it had just issued Notice No. 52/TB-VPCP on the conclusion of the Government Standing Committee at the Government Standing Committee meeting with enterprises on tasks and solutions for private enterprises to accelerate and make breakthroughs, contributing to the country's rapid and sustainable development in the new era.
The Government Standing Committee requires businesses and entrepreneurs to inherit and promote the tradition of patriotism and a sense of responsibility towards the nation; and to make more active contributions to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.
The Government Standing Committee recommends that the business community implement the following 8 major requirements:
First, pioneering in innovation, promoting the development and application of science, technology, digital transformation in production and business, and corporate governance.
Second, make more active and effective contributions to the three strategic breakthroughs in institutions, infrastructure construction, training and human resource supply.
Third, accelerate and make a breakthrough in growth, propose participation in important national projects and works.
Fourth, inclusive, comprehensive, sustainable in the country's development.
Fifth, promote the construction and development of the digital economy, green economy, circular economy, knowledge economy, creative economy, and sharing economy.
Sixth, actively participate in social security work, especially contributing to eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses and building social housing for workers.
Seventh, more and more large ethnic enterprises are participating in value chains, supply chains, and global production chains, contributing to enhancing national brands.
Eighth, do business in accordance with the provisions of law, participate in preventing corruption and negativity; build a business culture with national identity.
The announcement clearly states that for concerns, concerns, and recommendations from businesses, the Government Standing Committee will direct the review to build open and easy-to-implement institutions; build a team of cadres who dare to think, dare to do, dare to take responsibility, end the mechanism of giving, reduce administrative procedures, reduce compliance costs for people and businesses.
Maintain political stability, security, order, social safety, independence, and territorial integrity so that businesses can do business with peace of mind. Stabilize the macro economy, control inflation, promote growth, monetary policies, and fiscal policies are flexible and efficient, in accordance with the actual situation. Developing infrastructure, contributing to reducing logistics costs, increasing the competitiveness of services and goods. Promote human resource training for the country, serving businesses.
With the aspiration for the era of national growth, the State must create, the people support, and businesses must accompany and contribute to the common development.
With the spirit of not saying no, not saying difficult, not saying yes but not doing; on the basis of harmonious benefits, shared risks between the State, businesses, people and no negativity, corruption, waste, the Government Standing Committee requires ministries and agencies to study and report to competent authorities on the assignment of tasks and orders to businesses to implement major projects in the second quarter of 2025.
These include projects such as railway construction, train cars production in high-speed railway construction; tunnel digging, road construction; science and technology development, innovation, digital transformation; renewable energy development, hydrogen gas.
