    On the afternoon of September 16, in Hanoi, General Phan Van Giang - Politburo member, Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Commission, Minister of National Defense - chaired the Central Military Commission Standing Committee Conference to review preparations for the 12th Army Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.

    The conference was attended by members of the Central Military Commission: General Trinh Van Quyet - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army; General Nguyen Tan Cuong - Member of the Party Central Committee, Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, Deputy Minister of National Defense; Senior Lieutenant General Vo Minh Luong - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of National Defense; Senior Lieutenant General Hoang Xuan Chien - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of National Defense.

    At the conference, delegates contributed opinions focusing on completing draft documents; reviewing security and safety assurance work; information and propaganda work before, during and after the Congress; ensuring service for the Congress; agreeing on the time to organize the Congress; introducing personnel for delegates attending the 14th National Party Congress and a number of other key tasks.

    Reporting on the preparation for the 12th Army Party Congress, Lieutenant General Do Xuan Tung said that the authorities have actively and proactively organized and implemented the implementation. Up to now, the preparation work has been basically completed.

    Concluding the conference, General Phan Van Giang noted a number of contents that need to be focused on completing, ensuring the best conditions for the 12th Army Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030, to take place successfully.

    In particular, General Phan Van Giang requested to continue reviewing and completing the detailed management scenario for each working session of the Congress, spending more time for delegates to discuss and contribute opinions to the draft documents of the 14th National Party Congress and the documents of the Army Party Congress.

    Subcommittees of the Party Congress, subcommittees of the Party Congress, service departments and each comrade are assigned and assigned tasks to uphold the sense of responsibility, urgently and carefully review each work to ensure the organization of the 12th Army Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term is solemn, tight, comprehensive and thoughtful.
