On February 9, Politburo Member, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man offered incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh at House 67, Ho Chi Minh Relic Site at the Presidential Palace.
Talking with officials and employees of the Management Board of the Ho Chi Minh Presidential Relic Site at the Presidential Palace, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man emphasized that President Ho Chi Minh is a genius leader of the Vietnamese nation, an outstanding revolutionary, with great prestige for the international communist and workers' movement, and the movement for peace and national independence in the world.
National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man stated clearly that President Ho Chi Minh was the person who laid the foundation for building the socialist rule-of-law State of Vietnam - a state of the people, by the people, for the people.
On January 6, 1946, under the leadership of the Party and President Ho Chi Minh, the first general election in the nation's history was victorious, marking a brilliant milestone opening a new period of development for the Vietnamese nation.

Over the past 80 years, through 15 terms, the National Assembly has constantly innovated and improved the quality of legislative activities, supreme supervision and decision-making on important issues of the country, making worthy contributions to the cause of building and protecting the Fatherland.
The National Assembly Chairwoman affirmed her close companionship with the Government, under the leadership of the Politburo, the Secretariat, and the Central Executive Committee of the Party to promptly institutionalize the Party's guidelines and policies, remove difficulties and obstacles, and build a comprehensive development institution. At the same time, continue to innovate and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the National Assembly's activities.
Reporting to National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man, the Director of the Ho Chi Minh Presidential Relic Site at the Presidential Palace, Le Thi Phuong, said that in 2025, the Relic Site has successfully completed the assigned political and professional tasks, continuing to affirm itself as a "red address" with a widespread influence on Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style.
During the year, the Relic Site welcomed nearly 2.6 million domestic and international visitors for sightseeing, research, and study. Along with welcoming and propaganda work, the Relic Site organized 15 exhibitions and thematic exhibitions, including contents about 14 Party Congresses and activities to celebrate the 16th National Assembly election, attracting a large number of officials, party members, students, and tourists to participate in learning.
In particular, to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the first General Election to elect the National Assembly of Vietnam, the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site at the Presidential Palace displayed a thematic exhibition "President Ho Chi Minh with the National Assembly of Vietnam - 80 years of a glorious journey", displaying 120 images and documents about President Ho Chi Minh with the National Assembly of Vietnam, including many precious original artifacts, introduced to the public for the first time.
